I have written many times  before that interest rates were at historical lows and would rise. My forecasting proved to be less than eye opening . Interest rates did rise a small amount  but slid back due to a number of factors.(Some of these factors are mentioned in the article below)

Not being in the finance end of the industry, it is not easy to understand what loans will be issued and wether or not  the borrower can afford the loan. I worry that some People will be forced to overextend themselves based upon house needs.

In any event I am more interested in the effect of inflation and raising interest rate on the real estate market. While  no one likes upward changes I do remember much higher inflation an interest rates.
