Florida is a large a diverse state. Many regions have their own weather patterns. So the question one has to ask is what kind of a business is being discussed and where it is located. Perhaps the criteria mention in the article of “Chief executives favored pro-growth, low-tax states in ranking states as "best" for doing business.” Pro-growth and low taxes need to be further defined.

These should not be the only criteria used to make an important decision such as relocating a business. Work force, transportation, housing, weather and resources natural and manmade and other factors should play an important role as well.

We are living in a time that is seeing rapid changes in technology.

If the state wants to attract more business we need to do a better job of communicating our advantages than pro-growth and low taxes.
