There is no doubt that Zillow and Turlia spend a lot of money advertising and drive customers to thier site. Perhaps it is a good place for buyers and sellers to start. I find more often than not, many buyers and sellers are confused by the information. In a fast moving real estate market it is difficult for a large national information aggregator to know the local market and inventory. Deals and inventory are constanly changeing in local real estate offices. on a minute by ,minute basis so it is not unrealitic for information posted online to be inaccurate or out of date.
Perhaps buyers and sellers may want to gather some information online however when they are ready to make important decisions it is best to discuss options with a local realtor that knows the market.
